Bears Athletics
The rewards of athletic participation are immediate and enduring for the Branksome Hall Asia student-athletes. We offer a wide variety of extracurricular athletic activities, and our world-class coaches and staff are committed to developing a well-rounded student-athlete.
Currently, we have 24 sanctioned KISAC Conference teams as well as a year-long ice hockey and swim programs with over 150 student athletes enrolled in each program, respectively. We also offer a skate program that is embedded into the IB PHE Curriculum, which also includes figure skating and short-track speed skating.
Our facilities are world-class and provide access and opportunity for our student-athletes to achieve their excellence in athletics. With an ice rink on campus, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and custom golf facility, we give an edge above the competition in development.
It is well documented that the positive effects of sports on young athletes include stronger social connections, improved academic performance, and enhanced self-confidence. Skills that are developed in the athletic environment contribute to our students' education and growth.
Competitive sports at BHA prove transformative for our students. They build character, instill leadership skills, and teach perseverance. Sports promote individual wellness and achievement while helping our students develop their unique skills and independence.
The three qualities we look to develop in every BHA athlete are to love the game, be a great teammate, and compete every day.
Go Bears!
