Wellness and Approaches to Learning Morning

During the month of November, Grades 6 and 7 students took part in a one-off Wellness and Approaches to Learning morning.  The students worked in four different groups and traveled to different workshops on the following topic areas: time management and stress, critical thinking, metacognition and self-regulation. During the metacognition workshop the students experienced great joy learning about how their brain manages emotions and got to label and create their own brains with modeling clay. 

A big thank you goes out to Ms. Brook Pauley, Ms. Jennifer Blackman, Ms. Laura Muir, and Dr. Paula Swartz for inspiring the students with some challenging workshops on Wellness and Approaches to Learning.
