Soyoon Moon, our Grade 11 Sustainability Prefect, won the First Place Award in the 26th Halla Environment Keeper Competition for her efforts to preserve the environment. Soyoon has conducted a petition and written several proposals to reduce the single-use of plastic cups in the school cafeteria, to install sun blinds in the School Center to reduce the use of cooling energy, and to place trash cans in the JS playground to keep its environment clean and safe for little children. She recently presented at TEDx Branksome regarding climate change to raise awareness among the Branksome Hall Asia community.
