Performing at The Winners' Concerts at Lincoln Hall and Carnegie Hall
Our G4 student Seo-yeon Kim was captivated by the sound of the cello at the age of 9 and began learning the instrument. Through continuous effort and practice, she had the opportunity to study music more deeply at the Korea National University of Arts' gifted program after a year and a half. Since then, she has expanded her stage experience through collaborations and winner's concerts at venues such as Lotte Concert Hall and Youngsan Art Hall.
She has received top international awards, including first place at the Vienna Jugendmusikwettbewerb and the Korea-US Association International Music Competition. Domestically, she has earned numerous accolades, such as the Overall Grand Prize at the National Youth Music Competition and first place at the Mozart Korea Competition.
This year, on June 18th and 20th, she is scheduled to perform at the winners' concerts at Lincoln Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York.
Seo-yeon plans to continue playing the cello diligently and engage in various collaborations, ensembles, and solo performances. We wish her the best in her endeavors!
