As many of you will have heard, we are thrilled to report that the school average for the May 2021 IB Diploma exams were Branksome Hall Asia’s highest ever at 38.2 points – this is an incredible achievement and our May 2021 cohort and DP teachers are to be congratulated.

The May 2021 cohort had the entire two years of their IB Diploma disrupted by the covid-19 pandemic. When you consider all the physical, social, emotional and mental challenges they have managed to overcome in order to achieve this amazing result, you realize this is all the more incredible. And our girls couldn’t have done it without the unfailing support of their teachers, families and friends, so we want to once again say thank you to everyone who has contributed in any way to their success.

To provide a little more detail about our results:

  • 100% of students enrolled in the full Diploma were successful
  • All of these students achieved the Bi-lingual Diploma
  • Our highest score was 45 - the maximum possible points any student can achieve; plus, two of our students scored 44 points.
  • 86% of our student scored over 35 points
  • 22 subjects and levels (HL / SL) had class averages over 6 (the maximum points attainable is 7)

In addition, 93% of the May 2021 cohort have been accepted into the world’s top 100 universities and programs. So, we therefore have much cause to be proud and to celebrate. We look forward to another great year ahead at Branksome Hall Asia.
