Lower Junior School Center Update
John Gasparini,
Deputy Principal, Strategic Development
Significant progress has been made on the construction of Branksome Hall Asia’s New Lower Junior School and Play Space. This ambitious campus improvement project, which began earlier this year, is now about halfway completed, with interior walls being put up this week and playground equipment expected to be installed soon.
The new play space will be a highlight of the project, offering a variety of fun and stimulating activities for our youngest students. The formal playground will be a great spot for children to climb, slide, swing, and play, while the race course for tricycles is sure to be a hit with the Lower Junior School students. In addition to the playground, there will also be a grass and tree-lined park space created, complete with an outdoor classroom and a pergola. This area will be a perfect spot for students to take in some fresh air and enjoy nature. A sand and water play space will also be a great feature, allowing children to explore different textures and materials while having fun.
The New Lower Junior School will not only be a great place to play but also a special place to learn. This new school building will feature a dedicated Art Studio, Design Technology MakerSpace, and a Music Room, providing students with the opportunity to explore their creative side. There will also be additional student break-out spaces, counselors' offices, as well as a dedicated Chinese classroom.
The Branksome Hall Asia new Lower Junior School and play space building project is shaping up to be a fantastic addition to the school. We are eagerly awaiting its completion. Branksome Hall Asia’s commitment to providing the best education for its students is at the forefront of this project, and the new Lower Junior School facilities are sure to be valuable assets for our students for years to come.
