Letter of Appreciation

From the President of the Asia Pacific Mediation Forum

The President of the Asia Pacific Mediation Forum and Associate Professor from University of South Australia, Mr. Dale Bagshaw, delivered a heart-felt thanks to all of the Branksome Senior School students who so kindly volunteered to translate the abstracts for the 9th Asia Pacific Mediation Forum conference and to interpret the presentations during the conference.

Mr. Bagshaw was extremely impressed with the quality of the translations, the professional behavior of the students and with their willingness to make such a valuable contribution to the success of the conference.

He stated “Branksome students played a vital role to facilitate communication at the conference for the 140 mediators and peacemakers who came from 16 countries.  Without these Branksome students, the communication between the participants who could not speak each other’s language would have been compromised. I do hope that it was also a valuable experience for each of the students involved.”
