Knuckle Rash CASE
By Aidan Hammond, Jason Hearn
We are taking things apart to learn more about them. The Knuckle Rash case has started to disassemble two motorcycles, with the goal of combining their parts to build a working bike.
Along with Dr. Hearn and Mr. Hammond, 15 students from the middle school and senior school have been carefully disassembling the bikes, documenting the parts for repair, and learning how to use various tools. Along the way, we learn bits of motorcycle trivia from Dr. Hearn and discover all the different tools and technologies available in the design department.
This will be a long project, but our goal is to get a working motorcycle that we can sell to raise money for charity. In the meantime, we are exploring machines and having fun!
