Health and Safety

By Dr. Mark Lee, Chair of the Health and Safety Committee

We would like to extend a warm thank you to everyone in our community for helping to ensure the health and safety of all during this unusual time as we continue to implement our COVID 19 Health and Safety protocols.

We would like to share with you a few requests and suggestions to help keep everyone safe:

  • Having our student, parent, or staff ID ready for presentation at Gate 1 helps to keep our traffic moving smoothly as we conduct temperature checks and ensure that any visitors to campus have been pre-approved.
  • Gate 1 is not accessible to cars between 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. In addition, this gate is closed on Wednesdays between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. These closures are needed in order to ensure the timely entry of our students to campus.
  • We also ask that staff and parents avoid making left-hand turns when they enter at Gate 1 whenever possible as making such turns serves to block oncoming traffic and creates congestion at this very busy position where children are crossing in significant numbers as they come to school.
  • While students are welcome to bring bicycles, e-bikes, and electric scooters to campus, we ask that students wear helmets at all times when riding to school.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us at 010 3227 6608 if you have any questions or concerns.

We are looking forward to a very safe and pleasant final few days of school and wish everyone a nice summer break.
