Do you have any current or past professional affiliations and or experiences that help you in your current position?
Yes. I was lucky to play University Hockey as well as Professionally for 10 years. I attended 4 NHL Training Camps which taught me a lot to help with my teaching and learning today. As I transitioned to International School Education I moved into Ice Hockey Director roles as well as Athletics Director positions.

Huntsville, Ontario, Canada
How long have you been at BHA? In Korea?
First year at BHA. This is my 10th year in Korea after 9 years at Chadwick International School in Songdo.

Canada & USA
What languages do you speak?
English, basic French and basic Korean
What are the best things about teaching at BHA?
The eagerness and willingness to learn and develop from the students and teachers.
What are you most proud of doing at BHA, so far?
Providing more quality opportunities for our student athletes and coaches to develop with their passionate sports. Examples such as Dream League Hockey Camp for female hockey players, Quebec Peewee International Tournament for our U13 hockey program, soccer and swim going to Thailand and creating more opportunities from LPGA and KPGA coaches for our golf program.

If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share?
Enjoy the journey and embrace the experience.
If you could take the students on a field trip to anywhere in the world, where would you take them?
My hometown to enjoy the experiences I had growing up. Depending on the season in Canada.
Winter - ice fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, skating on a frozen lake, snowshoeing, maple syrup sugar shack, etc.
Summer - Water sports such as water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing, canoeing, hiking through Provincial Parks, etc.
Places: Algonquin Provincial Park, Massasauga Provincial Park, Arrowhead Provincial Park, Ragged Falls, Lake of Three Rivers Lookout, visiting an Ojibway First Nations Reservation, Segwun Steamship Cruise, visiting small towns such as Port Carling, Bala, Port Sydney, Dorset, etc.
What is your favorite Korean dish?
BBQ
What is something you want people to know about you?
I’ve been to every single US State, including Hawaii & Alaska.
