Dear BHA Community,

Hello! I am Hyosang Chae, the Head Girl for the 2024-25 school year.

I still vividly remember my first day at Branksome Hall Asia, when I was struck by the image of the Head Girl wearing the red tie. From that day on, I often imagined myself wearing that red tie as I walked into school. The vague dream of a seventh-grade girl who wanted to make the world a better place has now become a reality with my election as Head Girl. Along with the joy of this achievement, I am also keenly aware of the weight of responsibility that the red tie represents.

This year, the Prefect Council is committed "to lead by example, fostering a respectful and collaborative environment where every student feels welcomed and included. We value students’ voices and promote community spirit, striving towards a supportive community with a balanced lifestyle among the student body". Every member of the Prefect Council values the diverse voices of our students and is dedicated to fostering a community spirit that supports a balanced lifestyle among the student body.

In addition to this collective goal, I aspire to be remembered as a Head Girl who leads with both passion and composure, embodying a warm charisma that resonates with every member of the Branksome Hall community. Branksome Hall Asia is a place where everyone is encouraged to shine in their own unique way, embracing their individual qualities. My past and present selves are a reflection of this nurturing environment, and I aim to become a central figure in fostering the communication that connects us all, helping each of us to grow our dreams and reach for greater horizons.

Moreover, I will work tirelessly each day not only to harmonize the diverse voices within our community but also to contribute to the reputation of Branksome Hall Asia as a school of distinction, one that shines brightly on the global stage.

I look forward to making this year a truly exceptional one for myself, for the Prefect Council, and for the entire Branksome Hall Asia community.
