Excitement in the Junior School for the Start of the School Year

The sun shone and the JS students smiled behind their masks, as they returned to school for the start of a new school year.

The Junior School teachers, interns and educational assistants have worked together for the last ten days to get classrooms ready for learning. We are so happy to be welcoming back so many returning students and parents, as well as 81 new Junior School students and their families. Supporting these children and their parents to feel welcome and part of our Branksome Hall Asia community is important. I am sure as returning parents, you will reach out to them to help them to get to know you and to arrange play-dates for children, thank you for this!

As you know we are working hard to ensure your children are safe at school. The students have been fabulous at wearing their masks, and we seem to have a more varied selection of masks than we did before the summer holiday. We are using lots of hand sanitizer, washing and drying hands and ensuring students sit apart as we eat lunch.

It was fabulous to see the children happy and smiling, making new friends, getting to know their teachers and to be back to learning at school again. They are all so much taller than they were before the holiday!

I look forward to seeing you all over the next few months and at our Meet the Teachers afternoon in September, more details will be shared soon about this event.

As always thank you for your support with the Junior School. I am sure it is going to be a wonderful year of learning.
