Community Survey for Accreditation

Community Survey for Accreditation

Branksome Hall Asia became accredited by the Council of International Schools and by the Western Association of Colleges and Schools (WASC) in July 2018. This significant achievement followed a two-year period of self study, strategic planning, and implementation of school improvement plans across eight domains or areas that include a) Purpose and Direction, b) Governance, Leadership and Ownership, c) Curriculum, d) Teaching and assessing for learning, e) Student Learning and Wellbeing, f) School Staffing, g) Premises and Physical Accommodation, and h) Community and Home Partnerships.

International accreditation is an ongoing process of continuous improvement rather than being understood as an exercise that is finally completed at any one point in time.  As a vibrant and innovative top-ranked international school, we are always in the process of ‘being born’, of growing, and improving.

Re-accreditation takes place every five years and we are preparing for this process over the coming months. Last week our Community Survey instrument was shared with parents, students, and faculty.

Thank you so very much for taking a few minutes to complete this survey so that your feedback can be incorporated into school planning and improvement as we move forward with our re-accreditation process.
