Athletic Director
Dear BHA Community,
We are thrilled to share some exciting news regarding Athletics and activities at BHA.
During the 24/25 academic year, BHA will participate in an international conference called the East Asia Pacific International Schools Association (EAPISA).
EAPISA aims to provide athletic, creative, and cultural opportunities that capitalize on international schools' unique advantages in the East Asia-Pacific region. By fostering collaboration, cooperation, and discussion among member schools, EAPISA allows students to explore their evolving interests and talents within a vibrant and diverse international community.
The objectives of the conference are as follows:
- Promote Global Mindedness by engaging in sports, leadership, service, cultural, and academic endeavors among member schools.
- Encourage the development of integrity, self-control, and fair play.
- Foster teamwork skills and enthusiastic participation.
- Empower students to become compassionate, collaborative, and socially responsible global citizens.
In its inaugural year, the conference will primarily consist of friendly invitationals with other participating schools. BHA aims to host three tournaments during the 24/25 academic year: MS Badminton, MSHS Swim, and HS Badminton. We are also excited to announce our intention to attend MS soccer tournaments in Bali and HS volleyball in Taiwan during the first season. Further opportunities will be available during seasons two and three, with details to be finalized.
Following the success of our first international tournament this past weekend in Thailand, BHA Athletics and Activities eagerly anticipate building upon these incredible opportunities for our students.
Kind Regards,
