Bringing Joy to the Branksome Hall Asia Community

Beta Kappa Council aims to provide a more balanced life by organizing social events for the whole school community. It is our pleasure to serve the students and teachers to have one more big smile. As our council is responsible to bring joy to the Branksome community, we recruit creative and active student leaders who are able to raise their voice to promote a passion for life. We are confident that this characteristic is our greatest merit to enthusiastically collaborate with each other and devise delightful ideas. Since our council is required to design new concepts for events in each year, we are full of inspiration and uniqueness. 

It is our tradition to organize the two biggest annual events: Branksome’s Got Talent (BGT) and the Halloween party. 

Branksome’s Got Talent is the official talent show of Branksome Hall Asia, which derives from the America’s Got Talent event. The Beta Kappa Council would confidently say BGT is one of the most popular events at our school and that students are very enthusiastic about this production. Everyone in the Branksome community is eligible to participate in BGT. Through this contest, we provide an opportunity to students and teachers to spread their wings and show others how talented they are. The BGT event will take place this coming spring. For Halloween parties, we do our best to select an appropriate venue, decorate it with the annually selected theme, and organize a small event such as the Zombie run, a Haunted house, or a mini talent show. As we approach the end of October, we are currently planning for the upcoming 2020 Halloween event. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19, we could not organize a splendid Halloween party as usual. Instead, we will use our best efforts to decorate the school, and organize a celebratory event for students that will provide a positive experience. This year, we will be having an Costume Day on Tuesday, October 27th and a Halloween scavenger hunt will be held at school on the following day (Wednesday).

Our goal is to make many connections, both locally and globally, and also to collaborate with other councils. We will always do our best to support students and build great memories at Branksome Hall Asia.
