Branksome Hall Asia to Co-Host the Korea World University Fair Online

The Branksome Hall Asia university counselors are so very pleased to announce that the registration for the Korea World University Fair is open. This Online Fair is being co-hosted by Branksome Hall Asia and Chadwick International School, and we have over 200 universities attending the event. Also, 15 international schools from Korea will be attending.

The fair will take place between September 1st and September 6th as listed online on Cialfo, our online university learning platform. In addition, there is a special event on Monday, August 31 with Brown University and the University of Chicago about admissions to highly selective universities. More information on how to register for the event is forthcoming this week. The event on Monday, August 31st is for Branksome Hall Asia and Chadwick students only. We are so happy that both universities accepted our invitation to speak to our students and parents.

There are also six specialized sessions that will take during the course of the fair:

  • Applying to Liberal Arts Programs (Saturday, Sept 5, 9:00 am)
  • Applying to European Universities (Saturday, Sept 5, 2:00 pm)
  • Funding: Scholarship Opportunities and Applications (Saturday, Sept 5, 7:00 pm)
  • How to Create a Portfolio for Art and Design Courses (Sunday, Sept 6, 9:00 am)
  • Applying to UK Universities (Sunday, Sept 6, 2:00 pm)
  • Finding a "Best-Fit" University (Sunday, Sept 6, 7:00 pm)

Fair Dates: Tuesday - Sunday, Sept 1 - Sept 6, 2020 (Korean Standard Time). Weekday times will be 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and weekend times will take place between 9:00 am to 8:30 pm.

Logistics: Parents and students should watch pre-recorded sessions from many universities when you register with a particular university. Please do watch this video ahead of time, if it is offered. During the fair, most universities will be hosting drop-in booths. This is a chance for you to go and speak directly with representatives. Booths will be open for 2 hours. Please do not ask questions that are covered in the pre-recorded session or are easy to find on their website. This is a time for you to engage with representatives and ask meaningful questions.

If you have any questions regarding your registration, please contact one of our counselors.
