Boarding Maker Space: The Right Space for You

Shin Saimdang House has opened its MakerSpace pod and welcomes all types of innovation! This is a space for all Boarding students who wish to explore their ARTISTIC, INNOVATIVE, and CREATIVE sides. The Teacher Dons provide students the space to discover their potential and nurture their individual talents. Whether it is painting, drawing, sculpture, crafts, bookbinding, film, sewing, knitting, crocheting, 3D printing, robotics, woodworking, stickers, button making, or other interests, we have the right space for you in boarding. The MakerSpace is about exploring and discovering amazing ideas, creating and building something new!

Boarding Dons believe that there are no mistakes, just opportunities to learn from our three separate and specialized rooms where your interests fit in either Arts, Textiles or Design. The Dons are available to lead activities and nurture ideas to get each student started. The MakerSpace website has even more project suggestions and resources that the students can explore in their own time too. We believe that the most important thing of all is finding your passion and sharing it with others.

The MakerSpace is open at various times throughout the week and available during activities such as Sunday Fun Day and CASE.  We encourage your daughter to visit MakerSpace and look forward to seeing her and her creativity flourish this year!
