Plaid Tidings 2019

By Yunjeong Bhu, Events Coordinator

We would like to thank everyone who came to the 2019 Plaid Tidings event on November 30th. The event began with music performances by our Junior School Choir, a Chinese Parent Group, and our Junior School dance group, and a special performance by a traditional Korean percussion team. The Honor Orchestra, our Staff Band, and the Halla Brass Ensemble provided entertainment throughout the event.

The market was full of laughter and happiness.

This year the fundraiser raised KRW 9,817,370 in total. In the New Year, the school will share further details as to how the funds will be used to support student programs including giving back to our community.

We sincerely thank all the sellers and organizers for their support in making this year’s Plaid Tidings another amazing event.

Special thanks to our Junior School music teacher, Melvyn Sawyer, who conducted the opening ceremony and Jose Zarate, our Film Teacher and Technician, for setting up the sound system for the performances.  A huge thank you, also, to all the student and teacher performers, the BHA Event Parents Committee, and all the parents who helped with the decorations in STEM V for the event.

Thank you once again for your wonderful participation and support.
