A GROUP OF YOUNG VISITORS FROM CHINA

On August 23rd Branksome Hall Asia welcomed a group of young students and their parents from Shandong province, China.

The visiting students were given the opportunity to create music together with the Junior School Music Teacher Mr. Melvyn Sawyer before they performed for the JS students and faculty of Branksome Hall Asia.

While the students received music lessons, the parents received a presentation on the IB PYP which was presented by our Deputy Head of Junior School Ms. Virginia Sutton. Both students and parents were amazed by our world-class educational program and facilities, as well as our highly talented teachers.

Performances included Chinese folk music and dance performances. The performances were outstanding and eye-opening to both our students and other community members. Following the performances, Ms. Frances Lond-Caulk, our new Head of Junior School, and Dr Cinde Lock, our Principal, warmly commended our visitors for providing Branksome Hall Junior School students an opportunity to experience a piece of remarkable Chinese culture.
