Michael comes to us from Canada and is an experienced administrator who possesses 14 years of experience. Internationally, Michael worked in Bahrain and was MYP Coordinator at Frankfurt International School. Karen joins us from Auckland International College (AIC) where she has led as Director of Studies. As the Director of Learning Technologies at Branksome Hall Asia, Terry is responsible for IT integration, design, and execution of technology pedagogy as well as Branksome Hall Asia's online learning program. Terry was invited to be an expert panelist at BETT in London, and also has been invited to be a speaker and writer of online learning articles for BETT Asia. Terry has also published a research paper on online learning in the International Schools Journal. Terry joined Branksome Hall Asia in 2016 after spending 3 years at NLCS Jeju as the Head of Computer Science. Prior to living in Korea, Terry was Curriculum Leader for Mathematics and ICT at the British International School Riyadh. Terry is an IB exam paper author, principal examiner, curriculum reviewer,
internal assessment team leader, and extended essay team leader for the International Baccalaureate Computer Science diploma program.

Bethany is from the United States where she started her career in education as an academic behavior specialist. Jon is a Middle Years Program science teacher. He joined Branksome Hall Asia in 2016, arriving from New Zealand where he taught middle and senior school for three years. Eve was born in Fuzhou, China, but grew up in Toronto, Canada. Her strengths and specialties include rowing, fitness, foreign languages, drawing, playing musical instruments, singing, and rapping. She has always highly valued a healthy active lifestyle. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Music(University of Toronto), a personal trainer certificate (Canadian Fitness Professionals Organization), TEFL & TESL certificates, and a piano certificate (Royal Conservatory of Music). Eve regularly encourages everyone to take on a variety of extra-curricular activities and to pursue a healthy active lifestyle.

Alice was born and raised in Korea but moved to Kingston, Canada to pursue her university education. She graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors). She is interested in teaching and mentoring younger students. As an alumnae of the class of 2015 of Branksome Hall Asia - the first graduating class - she is very excited to return and share her experience. Alice was a student prefect and actively participated in numerous activities including stage band and swimming. She is keen to support students with their academics, extra-curricular and personal concerns.
Jue, Kara - Teacher Don

Biography
Kara Jue has joined us from San Marcos, TX U.S.A. She has been volunteering and working with The National Hispanic Institute (NHI) since 2009. Her last position held with NHI was the Director of Admissions, working with first-generation college-bound students. She has also successfully managed her own swim lesson business since 2017. Kara is passionate about working within her South Texas community on educating families about how to live a healthy active lifestyle, how to conserve their environment, and showing them the safety and fun of water sports. She is a first-generation college graduate who earned her Bachelors of Health Sciences from Texas A&M- Corpus Christi and is also a Licensed Community Health Worker.

Biography
Sekholu grew up in north east of Nagaland, India. She is experienced as a supervisor in a boarding school India, as well as barista and teaching the children in various churches as a Sunday school teacher working with middle and high school students from various background, teaching ethics and social sciences on weekly basis.

Biography
Marlena’s IB journey began when she was an elementary student in Latvia. She also attended international high schools in China and Indonesia before completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and Business from Oral Roberts University. Upon graduating, she worked for an advertising agency and a non-profit organization developing advertising and marketing campaigns. She recognizes the value of an IB education and hopes to play a part in empowering Branksome Hall learners to become the best versions of themselves.

Biography
Minnie attended an IB international school and knows the IB program well. She has studied many languages, including Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese. Minnie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Korean Studies from the University of Hong Kong and is due to receive her Master’s degree in Marketing at the end of 2020.

Biography
Esther joins us from New York City where she spent 8 years in the public health and nonprofit sector developing, implementing, and researching community-based health programs for under-served populations. She is passionate about fostering inclusive and diverse communities and is committed to providing a supportive, creative, and healthy environment for young people to thrive, both academically and emotionally. Prior to Branksome Hall Asia, she spent a year in Jeju teaching English and working with students from pre-K to middle school. Esther enjoys exploring the beautiful island and getting to know its people. She holds an MPH in the Sociomedical Sciences and a B.A. in Latin American Studies.
Kim, HyunJung - Teacher Don

Biography
Hyunjung joins us from Seoul, where she co founded sustainable healthcare product startup. Hyunjung was born in Korea and attended fashion school ESMOD in Paris graduating in Korea. Hyunjung designed and taught UN SDG social innovation program to university students from Korea and Southeast Asia region for many years. Prior to that, she pioneered school in the Indian slum specially for women and children from under-privileged background. She lived and worked in 4 countries on 3 continents including France, Singapore, Madagascar and India.
