The IB Advantage
At Branksome Hall Asia, the IB Advantage prepares students to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
The IB Programs at Branksome Hall Asia
We offer a comprehensive continuum of study aligned with the globally recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) frameworks. Our three programs are thoughtfully designed to meet the developmental needs of students at every stage:
A Continuous, Comprehensive Framework
Together, the PYP, MYP, and DP create a seamless and coherent educational journey that reflects the best practices in international education. Recognized by universities and colleges worldwide, this framework ensures that students graduate with a strong foundation, positioning them for success in post-secondary education and beyond.
Primary Years Program (PYP)
For students aged 3 to 11, the PYP nurtures the whole child as an inquirer, fostering curiosity both in the classroom and the outside world. Through trans-disciplinary themes and units of inquiry, students gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their connections to the real world.
Middle Years Program (MYP)
For students aged 11 to 16, the MYP provides a rigorous academic framework that challenges students to delve into disciplinary studies while building strong interdisciplinary connections. It promotes critical and reflective thinking, encouraging students to become well-rounded problem solvers.
Benefits of the IB program
Research shows that IB students have increased opportunities and higher acceptance rates at top universities. IB Diploma holders in the U.S. and Canada often receive university-level credits, sometimes equivalent to a full year of study. Studies confirm that IB graduates perform well in university, with higher grade point averages and graduation rates than their non-IB counterparts.
